Semen / Sperm examination

Samples are only accepted by appointment.
Time can be booked on tel. 7843 5500 Monday-Friday. The analysis is performed only on Thursdays.

IMPORTANT: Collection must take place no earlier than 45 minutes before your appointment at Blodprøver og Biokemi, Gødstrup

No sperm ejaculation is allowed for a period of 2 days before the examination, but at least one ejaculation must have taken place between 2 days to 7 days before eksamination.

Collection is performed by masturbation into the supplied cup, and the specimen must be as complete as possible (if there is any waste during collection it must be recorded below).

Do not use a condom as it damages the specimen.

The specimen should be kept with the lid upwards during transportation, and not exposed to intense heat, intense cold or sunlight (it is best transported in the inner pocket).
